This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Philadelphia peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Tried the tasting experience and loved every bite so much. Plenty of food and really beautifully bright flavors. Seriously one of my favorite meals Iβve had in a long time. My highlights were the pork adobo, the Filipino spaghetti, the shrimp, and the Caesar salad. The adobo was especially good, super tender pork with blended flavors and a tanginess to cut the fat. The spaghetti was also a fun dish! Honestly everything we got was good. Also loved the heat on the tofu and the garlic rice. The South Philly Laing was incredible. Iβm honestly not usually a fan of coconut flavors, but this dish may have me changing my mind. The coconut had a perfect subtle sweetness for the dish and I really liked it. Desserts were plentiful and bright. The homemade ube ice cream was the perfect end to the meal! Super friendly service, great food, well priced for the quality/quantity, and bright flavors. Such a treat!

The best plates we had were the Filipino spaghetti and the adobo. The spaghetti was indulgent and creamy. The lemongrass it the adobo was so good, Iβd definitely go back for that. The rice was tasty too and cooked perfectly. The lumpia were ok, the sauce they came with was good. I wish there were more veggies in the dishes. It was loud as others have said and pretty hot inside despite it being a chilly night. Service was friendly and fast.

Last night, I celebrated my birthday at Tabachoy for the first time, and it was absolutely phenomenal. From the food to the service, everything was exceptional. Every dish came out incredibly fresh, and the flavors were truly out of this world. Iβm so grateful I had the chance to dine at this establishment, and I will definitely be back. My favorite was the Filipino spaghetti. I highly recommend it!

Overall a small nice restaurant. Food taste good, some dishes were a bit too salty and I had to drink a lot of water later the day. Chill atmosphere with good service. Their light was somehow flashing intermittently while we had dinner there so that was a bit uncomfortable.

Great tasting food! BYO Food: EXCELLENT - I can't tell if these are authentic. But the food was excellent and super tasty. We went mostly with recommendations from the staff and were very happy. Make sure to leave room for dessert. They were great! Service: EXCELLENT Atmosphere: GOOD - Small space so it can feel cramped. But we were comfortable. We would definitely come back!!!
